It’s important to note that complications are extremely rare, and if you follow our recommendations, we can almost guarantee your healing process will be smooth, scar free and straightforward.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER TATTOO REMOVAL TREATMENT?

Redness and swelling are common to the level of a mild sunburn or insect bite.
Blisters or scabbing may form. They’re normal, part of the healing process, and often a sign the body’s flushing out ink.
Itching, tenderness, or mild bruising can occur for a few days.
Most people heal well within 1–2 weeks but deeper healing takes up to 4–6 weeks.

TATTOO REMOVAL ESSENTIAL AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Cleanse the treated area at least once daily with water and mild soap and then pat the area dry.
After cleansing and while skin is still moist, apply a thin layer of Bepanthen cream to the treated tattoo.
Do not rub or scratch the treated area.
If crusting/scabbing occurs, do not shave or pick area. Apply Bepanthen antiseptic cream to the area 2-3 times a day. Keep the area moist and let the scabbing/crusting resolve on its own.
If you are prone to break outs or have oily skin, consider waiting 24 hours before applying any topical products.
Discomfort may be relieved by cold gel packs and/or an over the counter pain reliever such as nurofen.
Avoid contact sports or any other activity that could cause injury of the treated area.
Avoid swimming, soaking or using hot tubs/spas until the skin heals.

TATTOO REMOVAL: MINOR SIDE EFFECTS & WHAT TO DO

Blisters: Normal. If large, contact us for advice before popping. Cover gently and apply ointment
Scabbing/Crusting: Let it fall off naturally.
Colour changes: Temporary darkening or lightening is possible; it usually resolves over time.
Signs of infection: If you see redness spreading, pus, honey-coloured crust, or severe discomfort, contact your technician promptly.
